This week we have: Early Development Group - Busy Bees, Early Development Group - Caterpillars, Caitlin's Yellow Speech and Language Groups, Cricket for young people aged 11+, Online Yoga for 16+, Tiny Outdoor Explorer Session for Sunflowers (Ages 2-8), Family swim at Bramley Baths, Caitlin's Red Speech and Language Groups, Football for ages 4+

We'd like to thank the Akhirah Foundation for their fundraising campaign to raise vital funds for all of these groups!

Also this week, we are holding our SEND Reforms meeting ahead of the consultation closing on 18th May, and our Sunflowers group this week will be very special as we’re going to forest school!

Akhirah Foundation challenge raises £13,500 for Sunshine and Smiles

An incredible £13,500 has been raised through a campaign by the Akhirah Foundation. Over 21 days, participants took on a challenge to walk or run 3 km every day, raising both awareness and vital funds for Sunshine & Smiles.

With only 2 weeks to go until the Government’s SEND Reforms consultation closes, we are holding a face-to-face meeting for Sunshine and Smiles parents and carers this week.

On Sunday 10th May, we will be out supporting runners taking part in the Rob Burrows Leeds marathon and half marathon, and we’d love a big Sunshine & Smiles cheer team at 21 Co. in Headingley!

On Sunday 31st May, the very popular plant sale is back at TCV Hollybush Conservation Centre, and we would love to have Cafe 21 open but we need a team of volunteers to help us!

A new series of Channel 4’s “What not to eat” is looking for participants, and we have been asked to share it with our families.

Free Digital Skills Sessions

Scope, in partnership with Hippo Digital, is offering free digital skills drop-in sessions for disabled people in Leeds in the form of a 6 week course which will run on a rolling basis.
