On Sunday 10th May, we will be out supporting runners taking part in the Rob Burrows Leeds marathon and half marathon, and we’d love a big Sunshine & Smiles cheer team at 21 Co. in Headingley!
We have a few runners taking part, including Neil Weldrick (one of our Sunshine Dads) and his colleagues from PWC, who are running the half marathon for Sunshine and Smiles. We’ll also be cheering on our very own Ailith Harley-Roberts who will be running the marathon. This is just one of many events Ailith is undertaking this year and you can donate towards our exciting new project: A home for Sunshine and Smiles, here.
We’d love as many friendly faces as possible to come down, make some noise, and help create an amazing atmosphere.
21 Co. will be open from 8am, and the first marathon runners will be going past from around 9:15am. The half marathon runners will then start passing from around 10am and the faster runners heading back into Headingley from around 12pm with the main pack arriving between 1pm to 2pm..
