Welcome to the Sunshine and Smiles weekly newsletter! This is where you will find all our upcoming events and news.
There's an opportunity to get involved in supporting The Down Syndrome Bill which is due to be voted on by MPs later this month, including a Zoom meeting TONIGHT which we encourage you to attend.
As part of our consultation, we are REALLY keen to hear from families of those with Down Syndrome who don't currently access our services. If this is you OR you work with those with Down Syndrome, please see 'Help Us Build a Better Service'.
You can also read about our new peer support WhatsApp groups, and see how we've been working with healthcare professionals to improve services to families of new babies with Down Syndrome.
Our events this week include Cricket, Movement with Katie, Blue Speech and Language groups, Swimming, Yoga, Sunbeams and Early Development (Caterpillars group). Don't forget to get booked onto our Christmas party on 12th December!
