brother.do.you.love.me.

We are absolutely delighted to announce that on 17th November, 21 Co. will be getting a visit from Manni & Reuben Coe.

You may have heard about their new book: brother. do. you. love. me. - an emotionally powerful story of brotherly love. It’s a truly magical book (literally! If you’re a ‘The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe’ fan, this is for you!) that’s been written in the hope of helping others.

Manni & Reuben were born in Headingley and we’re proud to be hosting a homecoming for them.

It will be an informal gathering, from 1pm - 2pm and there will be a reading from their book, which combines Manni’s spellbinding writing with Reuben’s illustrations - his expression of his feelings on life, being isolated during the pandemic and popular culture (Whoopi Goldberg, one of Reuben’s favourite actors makes an appearance), amongst other things.

brother. do. you. love. me. shares the journey of the two brothers and the title comes from a text that Reuben, who has Down syndrome, sent to his brother Manni from the care home for adults with learning disabilities where he was living at the time.

We’d love you to join us for what promises to be an absolutely wonderful couple of hours in the company of these exceptional men .
