A team of researchers at the Universities of York and Manchester, working in collaboration with Down Syndrome Education International are running a study called the BabblePlay project. This involves testing a parent-led app designed to support early vocal development in babies with Down syndrome.
They are inviting UK-based, English-speaking families with a baby with Down syndrome aged 7-15 months to take part (families can sign up when their baby is 3-13 months old). Participation takes place at home and involves using the app for 6 weeks (if in the intervention group), alongside completing home audio recordings and online questionnaires.
The study has ethical approval from the University of York and they would love to hear from you if you are interested in taking part. Click here to register your interest: https://forms.gle/D676Z6sZPvGAEAN58
