While we can’t hug

While we can't hug

A gorgeous new story has been published about two friends who find alternative ways to show their love without hugging.

Ruth Mercer, Speech & Language Therapist, shared this resource as it may be helpful for some of our children & young people to help deal with social distancing and think of other ways we can care for and love our friends and family during this difficult time.

Hedgehog and Tortoise want to give each other a great big hug, but they're not allowed to touch. From the creators of the internationally adored The Hug, Eoin McLaughlin and Polly Dunbar, Faber and Faber are thrilled to bring you a new story: While We Can't Hug.
