What a great World Down Syndrome Day! We hope all of our families had a fun day celebrating.
Here’s a very brief rundown…
We announced our most exciting project yet! Sunshine and Smiles is creating a dedicated Hub where families can connect, access support, and thrive together—all under one roof. Keep your eyes peeled for more info to come on this and how you can get involved! More info on our website here.
On Saturday, some families visited 21 Co, while others joined Tiny Outdoor Explorer sessions at TCV Hollybush for bug hunts, bird spotting, and even making wild garlic bread on the fire!. So many rocked their socks, and a special well done to Noah for raising £125 with a bun sale. Sarah also held a bake sale at Weetwood Primary and raised an amazing £630!
The Akhirah Foundation launched their 3K Walk/Run (21 Days) Challenge at 21 Co. (more info here), and 3TwentyOne unveiled their new clothing brand, which will donate some of their profits to Sunshine and Smiles. Info here.
Rob Coleman Performance held a group session fundraiser for Sunshine and Smiles - raising vital funds and awareness.
Thank you so much to everyone - what a brilliant community we have!
