A street in Headingley closed on 14th December to allow residents to gather together for a Christmas Playing Out session.
A section of Church Wood Mount was blocked off to vehicles and residents were encouraged to socialise.
Kate Bonsall-Clarke organised the Playing Out day with Leeds City Council and it allowed kids and adults to roam car-free in the street throughout the afternoon.
Amongst games in the street, live music, and refreshments to share, a tombola was organised, the proceeds of which have been donated to Sunshine & Smiles.
Thank you, Kate and her team, for organising this safe and fun day and for choosing to donate to our charity.
