Sunshine & Smiles held a TA Forum for teaching assistants who support children with Down syndrome.
This meeting took place at 21 Co. Shop & Café in Headingley, and TA's from all over Leeds attended.
The Forum was a great opportunity to share experiences and hear different techniques.
When is the next one?
- 27th November 2019
- 21 Co. Shop & Café
- 1:45pm – 3pm.
The session will be free of charge but there will be refreshments available to buy from the café.
Specialist guests plus staff from the Sunshine & Smiles will be there to share information & resources.
It is also an important opportunity for teaching assistants to ask questions and share their knowledge, resources & experience with each other.
The aim is to run these sessions every term.
Please share with your schools and ask them to contact ailith@sunshineandsmiles.org.uk to confirm attendance.
NB: There is free parking above the shopping area.
