The Leeds Down Syndrome Network won the Group Award voted by the public on Friday 11th October at New Dock Hall in Leeds.
The Yorkshire Children of Courage Awards celebrate exceptional children all across Yorkshire and is an event to raise money for the YCCA's 2019 chosen charity, St. James's Place Foundation.
Big thanks to Sarah Coles and Irwin Mitchell for nominating Sunshine and Smiles. This award was possible because of all our supporters and we want to thank everyone who shared our nomination and voted.
A spectacular evening of celebration and it’s wonderful to be recognised in the region. We still have a lot of work to do and want to be able to meet the needs of many more families, but know we are always working to improve & develop the support we offer.
Thank you so much!
