Speech and Language Groups
This year many of our families have attended one of our 29 Speech and Language Groups, run by a qualified Speech and Language therapist.
Speech and Language is one of the most important services which we are committed to providing to our families, as as we know how beneficial it is for children and young people when they attend regularly. It is also one of the most expensive outgoings for the charity.
As we plan for the new academic year we need to know your availability so that we can best use our resources to provide a service that meets the needs of as many families as possible.
You will notice there are many different time options given - we are obviously not going to be running sessions at all of these times but we are trying to understand what times are the best for people so that we can offer sessions accordingly.
Our Speech and Language sessions are for both children and young people who have attended in the past, and those who have never been before.
Please complete by 31st July.
Early Development Groups
Our Early Development Groups are regular structured sessions focussed on learning early developmental skills, and are for ages 1 to 4 years. We use tools, resources & techniques from See & Learn, the Early Years Developmental Journal, The Portage Model, and we link with our Speech & Language therapists to ensure consistency & continuity. The session will involve 1 hour of structured support & learning followed by 30 minutes of social time with snacks.
Please could you fill in this survey if you would like your child to attend an Early Development Group from September 2022.
PLEASE COMPLETE THIS SURVEY BY 25TH JULY IF YOU WISH TO BE IN AN EARLY DEVELOPMENT GROUP FROM SEPTEMBER.
