We are excited to announce that Ribbons, a public sculpture celebrating women of Leeds, and including our very own Ailith Harley-Roberts, has been shortlisted for a 2025 PSSA (Public Statues and Sculpture Association) Marsh Award for Excellence in Public Sculpture. Out of seventy nominations, only five works were selected — and Ribbons is one of them!
Public voting is now open for this prestigious award and we'd love your support! Your vote will help shine a brighter spotlight on this powerful sculpture and the inspiring stories of the women it honors.
We acknowledge that there are also some amazing women in Leeds who are not currently mentioned on the sculpture, but there could be future plans to extend the project so that more names of inspirational women could be added!
To cast your vote by 5th October 2025, click here: https://ow.ly/P01i50WY2kr
The winner will be announced on 14th October 2025.
