The Down Syndrome Act consultation closes on 30th March. Here’s how to have your voice heard.
Down Syndrome UK (DSUK) and the National Down Syndrome Policy Group (NDSPG) have produced an informative webinar on “Understanding the Down Syndrome Act consultation - and how to respond.”
In this webinar, Nicola Enoch (CEO, Down Syndrome UK) and Julie Duff (Chair, NDSPG) explain the latest updates on the Down Syndrome Act and what the draft consultation means for parents and carers. They break down what the draft guidance says, why it matters, and how families can give informed feedback to help shape national guidance. Clear, practical and accessible - designed to help you understand your rights and have your say with confidence.
They have also created a detailed guide to support families in responding to the consultation. It sets out DSUK’s response and recommendations, aligned to the DHSC consultation sections, to help parents formulate their own submissions. 13139 DSUK – Full Consultation Response to DHSC
