Research Opportunity for Primary School Children with Down Syndrome and an EHCP

We have been contacted by Camilla Brooks, a Master͛s student from the Department of Special Needs Education at the University of Oslo, Norway. She is carrying out a research project regarding the quality of Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) outcomes for primary school students (aged 5 to 12) with Down Syndrome in both mainstream and special schools in England. She is looking for parents who have a child with Down syndrome to share the most recent copy of their childs EHCP via the University of Oslo's secure data sharing platform. All personal data will be anonymized, stored securely and handled in accordance with Norwegian ethics mandates.

Information about the project and participation has been published to a cooperating research blog and can be found here.

If you are interested in finding out more about the study, please read the information letter and consent statement. For more information check out the research page on Facebook or Twitter at @DSoutcomesEHCP or send an email to researcher Camilla Brooks at camiljb@student.uv.uio.no
