There will be a free relaxed performance by folk trio Cri Du Canard at The Venue - Leeds Conservatoire on Wednesday 1 November, 1.05pm – 2pm.
The band is Cri Du Canard, with Grace Smith on violin, Sam Partridge playing flûte traversière en bois and Dave Gray on the accordéon diatonique. Together they intertwine the fiddle, flute and melodeon through exploration of the traditional folk-dance repertoire of France.
Relaxed performances are for everyone. They are designed to especially welcome all who might benefit from a more relaxed environment, including people who are neurodivergent, have sensory and communication impairments, dementia, and learning disabilities.
During the concert volume contrasts are softened, the lights stay up, and the door remains open. Audience members are welcome to leave and enter the auditorium as needed, move freely, and respond to music as they feel.
