This autumn, Phoenix Dance Theatre is delighted to relaunch its Illuminate Dance provision, offering creative dance classes for young people with additional needs.
The Illuminate classes run on a Saturday afternoon for young people aged 6-25 (split into two age groups). They are free to attend.
The sessions are run by staff members with extensive experience in both dance and disability work, so they can provide tailored, supportive and fun dance classes.
The classes are ideal for those who are passionate about dance or just looking to try something new.
The programme aims to improve our participants’ dance techniques as well as their health and fitness whilst supporting them to develop social and communication skills.
They are currently recruiting for our Illuminate Juniors class for young people aged 6-13.
