We’re excited to announce the re-launch of the Sunshine & Smiles Siblings Group!
The Sunshine & Smiles Siblings Group is a fun but safe space for siblings of those with Down syndrome. It’s also a space for young people to share their own experiences of being a sibling of a child with Down syndrome - the magical, the challenging and all the bits in between!
The sessions will be held every other Wednesday from 17th April at 21 co. in Headingley from 6.30pm - 8pm.
The new Siblings Group will be run by Ros and Rosie - here’s what they have to say…
Ros: “I am excited to play some games and do crafts with you all. Looking forward to meeting everyone and having a nice chilled time!”
Rosie: “I’m excited to get started with the sibling group, get creative and chatting with a new group of people!”
Our group will initially be for siblings between the ages of 8-16. Places are limited to 8 per session, and you can book here.
If you have any questions about this group, please email ailith@sunshineandsmiles.org.uk.
