Starting from March we will be holding a monthly get together at 21 Co. for parents and carers of children and adults with Down Syndrome (term time only). These will be relaxed with time to chat, get to know each other and share information. Drinks and snacks will be available to buy from 21 Co.
The first Get Together will be held on Tuesday 14th March from 10am to 12pm, and will be open to anyone (children are welcome too). Moving forward we have plans for specific themes for future sessions, such as families who have a child or young person with a dual diagnosis of Down Syndrome and Autism, information on Education, Health & Care Plans & inclusion funding, visiting guests from other local organisations and agencies and a wellness & self care session.
If you are planning to come it would be great if you could book on here so that we have some idea of expected numbers. Thanks!
