Our Café 21 @ TCV Hollybush will be open from 12pm until 3pm/3.30pm, with performances from 1pm (finishing by 4pm) by the following singer-songwriters, not necessarily in order of appearance:
- ROSEY HILL: Rosey Hill is a Leeds vocalist and songwriter. Her songs are emotionally delivered historical nightmares about witchcraft, Boudicca's revolt, middle-aged Maid Marian, the end of the world, monsters and devilry. She is the lead singer of feminist folk metal band Nithered.
- SAMSON: Armed with an acoustic guitar and a voice full of gravel and ghosts, Samson delivers raw, melodic storytelling that cuts through to the bone. Inspired by the dark poetry of Leonard Cohen and the gritty realism of Bukowski’s broken typewriter, his songs dwell in the tension between beauty and ruin.
- NICKY BRAY'S MUSICAL MENAGERIE: Nicky is a humorous musical storyteller who enjoys exploring weird and wonderful subject matter while experimenting with different musical styles: from upbeat ukulele odes to internal organs, to multilingual animal-inspired electro-pop, to football-themed a cappella with audience spot prizes.
Hollybush is just along the road from Kirkstall Bridge Inn - click here for location on Google Maps.
The address for the TCV Hollybush Conservation Centre is Broad Lane, Kirkstall, Leeds LS5 3BP.
On-site parking is only for blue badge holders, but you can park at Morrisons (a 6-minute walk away) if coming by car.
