During half-term we had a wonderful session at Music House in Leeds.
Crash! Bang! Twang! was a music exploration session for the children in our network who have a dual diagnosis of Down Syndrome and Autism.
We’d like to thank Music House for hosting and to Huw, Sean & Katie for facilitating the session. We’d also like to give a big thank you to everyone who donated musical instruments for the children to use on the day!
On the day our young people were able to play and listen to a grand piano, some amazing percussion instruments and try out guitars & ukuleles and even played an improvised guitar piece together!
The funding for this project came from Leeds Community Foundation and the Ann Maguire Arts Education Funds.
