Managing your own PAs: Tips & Good Practice Training…
- Do you use adult social care funding, or your own funds, to pay for and manage the care you need?
- Struggling to recruit/retain personal assistants (PAs) to support you?
- Got questions or concerns about employing PAs that you haven’t been able to get answers to?
Leeds Centre for Integrated Living (Leeds CIL) are running free Skills for Care-funded PA employer workshops where you can discuss issues you’re facing with an experienced PA employer. Rob Moriarty has required 24/7 care for the last 25 years, employing over 100 PAs.
Rob will enable discussion and peer support among participants; whether you are a new PA employer or more experienced, you are not alone!
Spaces are limited to 15 per workshop; you can attend in person or virtually (online). Light refreshments will be provided for in-person attendance.
Workshop dates to choose from:
- November: Thursday 23rd
- December: Tuesdays 5th and 12th
Time: 1 – 4pm (12:30pm arrival for in-person attendees)
Venue: Leeds CIL, Cartelli House, 2 Arthur Street, Stanningley, Leeds LS28 6JY or virtual attendance.
To book your place, on one of these workshops, please email events@leedscil.org.uk, or phone 0113 231 1125 so we can take your details, including any access requirements you have.
If you would like to attend a session, but can’t attend on any of the above dates/times, let Leeds CIL know as there will be more sessions early next year.
