NHS Speech and Language Therapist Ruth Mercer is able to run a Makaton signing course for Sunshine and Smiles this (summer) term. In order to make the best use of this offer we need to know whether there is more interest for a course covering Levels 1 & 2, or Levels 3 & 4 (we can only run one or the other).
Levels 1 & 2 is for beginners, or those with some knowledge of Makaton (e.g. have completed the Makaton for babies course).
Levels 3 & 4 is for those who have already completed Levels 1 & 2 though the NHS or privately.
If you are interested in doing one of these Makaton training courses, please let us know which one and what times work best for you using this survey. The survey will close this Sunday 8th May.
The training would be in person at 21 Co. or Stainbeck Community Hall.
