It has come to our attention that our 21 Co. café and shop has been immortalised in writing!
In the book Impunity: Rough justice for murder, part of the DI Gardener crime fiction series by Ray Clark, the protagonist visits 21 Co. because he “loves the place” and “has a weakness” for our homemade cheese scones with butter!
If you’d like to walk in DI Stewart Gardener’s footsteps and try out our now famed homemade cheese scones for yourself, we’re open:
- Monday: Closed
- Tuesday: 10am - 3pm
- Wednesday: 9.30am - 4pm
- Thursday: 9.30am - 4pm
- Friday: 9.30am - 4pm
- Saturday: 9.30am - 4pm
- Sunday: 10.30am - 4pm
You can find us, as DI Gardener did, at Unit 32, Headingley Central, Otley Rd, Leeds LS6 2UE.
And, as is mentioned in the book, every time you buy a drink, snack or something from our gorgeous shop, you’re supporting paid employment for people with Down syndrome and contributing to a small local charity, Sunshine & Smiles!
