Leeds SEND event 2024: working in partnership with parents and carers

Leeds Local Authority are putting on an event in conjunction with Leeds Parent Carer Forum. This is an event for parents and carers of children with special educational needs and / or disabilities (SEND) to hear from senior leaders in education, health and social care about what we have learnt from family feedback, and passed on to them, and their plans for improving SEND services in Leeds.
The day will include the following:
- Welcome from Dan Barton, Deputy Director for Learning;
- What families have told us / what we know;
- Leeds Parent Carer Forum;
- Table top discussions;
- Feedback and next steps; and
- Listening events.
