YorCyberSec Director, Lee Gilbank, cycled for 24 hours at 21 Co. Shop & Café in Headingley and raised £1,232.50!!
Lee cycled from 9:30am on 19th February until 9:30am on 20th February in the window at the Leeds café and local passers-by donated via a barcode on the window.
YorCyberSec have been ongoing supporters of the charity since establishing in March 2019.
Lee's wife, Katie, supported him throughout the challenge and you can watch updates on Sunshine & Smiles' Instagram and Facebook pages.
You can support Lee's Cycle Challenge by heading to his Localgiving page - 24 Hours On The Bike.
Thank you, Lee, for taking on such an enormous challenge and for choosing us as your charity. The money you raise not only make a huge difference, but your challenge will raise awareness of our charity and all the support we provide.
Where does this money go?
Every penny donated to Sunshine & Smiles goes directly towards the vital support we offer to our children, young people and families; whether it is Speech & Language sessions, fruit and milk for our baby group, transport for families, or paying our trained staff to support families or help our young adults into training and work.
