BBC Look North feature 21 Co. in givto story
In 2020, Sunshine & Smiles was one of the first charities to join givto, an exciting new online donations platform.

Givto is unique because it allows people to discover and donate to a different charity every month, with one direct debit. The website has been developed entirely by volunteers who were keen to do something to help local charities during the pandemic.
“It has been fantastic to welcome Sunshine & Smiles as one of our very first charities,” said givto’s founder Alex Ellis-White. “The charity is exactly the kind of organisation we want to help. We really couldn’t do this without your support, so a huge thank you for being involved.”
The donations we’ve received through givto will make a real difference to our work, and we’re looking forward to being involved as the project develops.
