We’re delighted that local charity Give A Gift has chosen Sunshine & Smiles as one of their Charity of the Year for the next 12 months!
Give a Gift’s vision is to work towards an environment where people can live in a manner where they are made to feel welcome and valued regardless of their background and simultaneously ensure that poverty alleviation remains integral to their core work.
Their mission to empower the beneficiary community to play a more active role in civil society, through maximising their potential and improve their wellbeing and quality of life by providing targeted support activities.
We’ll keep you updated on the ways that Give A Gift are supporting us over the next year, but one of the events they are holding is a Charity Zumbathon at Alwoodley Community Hall on Sunday 4th February. Zumba will be from 11:30am - 1:30pm and it will be followed by a light lunch.
