We are featured in an article in The Gryphon, a student-run newspaper at the University of Leeds. It was written by a journalism student who visited 21 Co. and spoke with our team a few months ago.
The piece explores the growing pressures facing the charity sector across the UK, from rising costs and increasing demand to ongoing challenges around funding. It highlights the vital role charities continue to play in supporting communities, even in a really difficult and changing environment.
It includes quotes from our Service Manager Ailith, and Francis, one of our café team members, sharing both the realities of day-to-day charity work and Francis’ experience of working in the café.
It was great to take part in the conversation, and to see Francis and our team’s voices included in the piece.
