Family Fund Grants
£137 million has been released via the Family Fund, to support families of children with ‘serious’ medical needs and/or disabilities, where the family has a low income and is in receipt of benefits or tax credits.
Families may apply for funding directly.
Any requests for funding to meet a child or young person’s needs will be considered – popular requests approved to date include funds for washing machines, iPads and other ICT resources, outdoor play equipment, and family holidays.
