Sadly, Etta Grace died at just 12 weeks old.
Etta Grace’s mum is holding a fundraiser on 6th August, and part of the funds raised will be donated to Sunshine & Smiles.
Jody, Etta Grace’s mum, explains why she’s raising funds for Sunshine & Smiles…
“I found sunshine and smiles when I was pregnant and had a prenatal trisomy 21 diagnosis. From that first phone call with Ailith to this day, over 2 years have passed and I have been supported so wonderfully and remained a part of the wonderful world that is Down syndrome.
I am raising money for Sunshine and Smiles by holding a fundraising event in august, I want to celebrate Etta and I want to celebrate Down syndrome. I was proud to be a part of this wonderful group and I loved attending events and groups, so this is my way of saying thank you.”
