Down Syndrome Regression is an emerging condition where individuals rapidly lose language, communication abilities and developmental skills. It is an uncommon but devastating occurrence, but now there is a potential treatment if the condition is identified and treated early.
We felt it was important to share this information with families so that they can be informed and share this information with health professionals if they have concerns for their child or young person.
