Crowdfunder Update

We would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who has already donated to our Crowdfunder, we have now raised over £20,000 which is amazing. Obviously there's a long way to go to reach our target but we have been overwhelmed by everyone's generosity so far. If you have donated, shared or popped into 21 Co. we are so grateful and have really felt the support of our local community.

As you may have spotted we have also attracted the attention of various news channels, with some lovely articles and segments going out over the last week. Here are some links if you want to watch, listen and read what’s been said:

You can read all about why we are crowdfunding at the moment here or watch a video about it here but basically we desperately need to make up a £30,000 shortfall for this year (a result in an increasing struggle to obtain fundraising, grants & donations in the current economic climate) so we are asking you to help us.

 

You can do this in a few different ways:

• If you are coming to a Sunshine & Smiles activity, there is always an option to make a donation. Please do this if you can!

• Could you set up a fundraising page of your own to link to our crowdfunder? You could do anything: hold a bake sale, do a sponsored event, give us something for a month – it can be as accessible and inclusive as you want to make it! • Could your employer support us as their Charity of the Year?

We really don’t like being in this position and having to ask for your help, but things have been really tough this year!
