After 2 years of a truly special partnership with Hollybush, we will be closing our café there on 25th September as we prepare to move into our new premises at Acclaim House. Hollybush has been a wonderful home for Café 21 — a place where our values, community spirit and love of good food have felt completely at ease. We are genuinely sad to be leaving such a natural fit.
We are incredibly grateful to the Hollybush team for their support, kindness and collaboration during our time there. We hope another organisation will be able to continue running the café and keep the space thriving for the local community.
All staff from Café 21 at Hollybush will be offered working hours at our new venue or at 21 Co., and we are committed to making the transition positive, supportive and exciting for everyone involved.
In our new space, we plan to develop a community canteen, staffed by our café teams, which will be open when our groups and activities are running. This will give families, young people and adults a welcoming place to enjoy drinks and refreshments — a warm, inclusive hub at the heart of our work.
This move marks a new chapter for Sunshine & Smiles, strengthening our ability to offer opportunities, connection and community. While we will miss Hollybush and everyone there, we are looking forward to building something special in our new home.
