We currently have a vacancy for a Support Worker in the 21Co. Café & Shop. The hours available are Wednesday and Friday afternoons, plus additional shifts to cover leave & illness.This is a paid position at National Living Wage (everyone who works at the café & shop gets paid this rate).
The successful candidate will support adults with Down syndrome by including and enabling them in a working environment at 21 Co. Café & Shop. You’ll work agreed and planned hours to cover specific shifts which will include one-to-one support to young people with all tasks at the café & shop.
There will be general café & shop duties, including food preparation, barista coffee making, cleaning and tidying the café & shop, opening up, cleaning down and closing the café & shop. You will also be supporting young people with developing a portfolio of competencies.
The closing date for applications is 5pm, Sunday 15th January.
