Movement with Katie - Holiday Session

As we can't run Made with Music over the holidays Katie has kindly offered to run some extra movement sessions for us!

This Movement with Katie session is for young people aged 8 - 18 years old, siblings are very welcome too!

Using an inclusive approach the sessions are created to encourage young people to explore their creativity and use their bodies through movement.

The session will focus on developing basic dance skills, learning sequences and working as a team. This session is full of fun and made accessible to all.

Katie Aynsley, who runs the sessions, has seven years’ experience of working with children, young people and adults with disabilities. She has worked towards becoming a freelance dance teacher where she has volunteered, assisted and taught various dance sessions within the community. She now works with local dance organisations Mesh Dance and Phoenix Dance theatre who provide dance within the community for children and young people with additional needs.
