Many children and adults with Down syndrome benefit from input from physiotherapy and occupational therapy.
For preschool-aged children, parents and carers can book into a joint Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy drop-in clinic (no referral necessary) which runs at venues across the city. You can find the dates and locations for the 2025 sessions below.
For older children and adults, a referral to physiotherapy or occupational therapy can be made by your GP or paediatrician.

Orthotics
If you think your child or young person might need specialist footwear, speak to your paediatrician or a physiotherapist, who can refer you to orthotics.
